ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS LAB

The laboratory provides hands-on experience with DC and AC circuits that includes the applications of Kirchhoff’s laws, superposition and Thevenin equivalent circuits. Topics also include operational amplifier circuits, phasor diagrams and electric machines.

CONTROL & INSTRUMENTATION LAB

            An instrumentation and control is essentially responsible for designing, developing, installing, managing and maintaining equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery and processes. The main objective of the work of instrumentation and control engineers is to ensure that these systems and process operate effectively, efficiently and safely. They usually work for the companies who manufacture and supply the equipment, or the companies use it. ELECTRICAL MACHINES LAB

It is a teaching lab for electrical machines. There are provisions for studying the characteristics and testing of various types of electrical machines. The lab is equipped with loading facilities for motors and generators and meters of different ranges. The work benches are built very safe and large enough to carry out the experiments comfortably.

POWER SYSTEM SIMULATION LAB

   The department has developed this laboratory with an objective of providing knowledge on various computer languages and to develop computer models that simulate the performance of complex systems in Engineering and to improve its performance.

Software Used:  PSpice Software, MI POWER Software, Mat lab software

POWER ELECTRONICS LAB

            The primary objective of this laboratory is to provide the students with a basic foundation for analysis, design, test, and DSP control of power electronics converters by simulation and experimentation. The laboratory work involves design, construction, and DSP control of power electronics converters including DC-DC, DC-AC, and AC-DC converters.

ELECTRONIC DESIGN LAB

 To provide students with a basic knowledge and understanding of electronic circuit design utilizing, basic circuits theory, Spice software simulation, and hands-on circuit assembly using discrete components.
