4th Freshers day was celebrated On 24/08/2011 Wednesday Dr.N.Thilagavathy , HOD, Science & Humanities welcomed the gathering. Sri.Andavar.A.Ramasamy,Chairman presided over the function in the presence of Thiru.K.Kalaiselvan, Secretary & Correspondent of the College.
Dr.K.Sekar, Principal, Chidambarampillai Women's College,Trichy delivered Chief Guest address. He congratulated the students and parents for choosing Surya Engineering College for their UG Education which is having a very good track record in Academics Co and extra curricular activities and also in strict discipline. He adviced students to study well and become employable at the end of their studies.
Vice Chairman C. Elango, Treasurer V.T.Kesavan, Directors Thangavel and Kalairasan offers their felicitation. Dr.S.Vijayan , Principal presented a report about the college. Prof.P R Varadarajan, Executive Officer also spoke. Ms.G.Shyamla, A/P, Mathematics proposed a vote of thanks.
