Library Automation

The commercial software CampusiLib: The Electronic Librarian is used to computerize the library. Through this software, the library’s OPAC function is accessible at the door and allows users to search library materials online by entering keywords such as Title, Author, Publisher, and so on.

Central Library

The SEC library house a vast array of books, journals, periodicals, and online resources specifically tailored to engineering disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, civil, computer science, and more serves as a crucial resource hub for students, faculty, and researchers in the field.

Journals Section

The Journals section in a library is a dedicated area that houses periodicals, scholarly journals, and academic publications and these are publications that contain articles written by experts and researchers in various fields of study. Scholarly journals are typically peer-reviewed, meaning articles undergo rigorous evaluation by other experts in the field before publication to ensure accuracy and quality.

Digital Library

Our Digital Library in a college setting refers to a virtual repository of digital resources accessible online to students, faculty, and researchers which typically offer a vast collection of e-books covering various academic disciplines, including textbooks, reference materials, research monographs, and literature. E-books can be accessed and read online or downloaded for offline reading on compatible devices.

News Paper Section

A newspaper section typically consists of a collection of newspapers, both in print and digital formats, that cater to the informational and recreational needs of students, faculty, and staff. The library may subscribe to a selection of local, national, and international newspapers in print format. These newspapers may include major publications such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Guardian, and regional or local newspapers depending on the college’s location and interests of its community.

Book Section

The book section in a library is a fundamental component that houses a diverse collection of print materials covering a wide range of subjects, genres, and general collection comprises books on a broad spectrum of topics, including fiction, non-fiction, literature, history, science, philosophy, art, and more. The seating facility in our library is an essential aspect of  infrastructure, providing users with comfortable spaces for reading, studying, research, collaboration, and We typically offer designated reading areas with comfortable seating arrangements where users can browse through books, magazines, and newspapers, and enjoy quiet reading in a peaceful environment
