AWARENESS PROGRAMS AND SPECIAL CAMPS ORGANIZED WRT VOTING AWARENESS CAMPAIGN
At Surya Engineering College, we are dedicated to fostering civic engagement and empowering our students to participate actively in the democratic process. This week, we planned to organize rally as part of our voter awareness campaign to effectively disseminate information and encourage participation in the voting process. As an integral component of our campaign, we have initiated the recruitment and training of student ambassadors. These ambassadors will engage in peer-to-peer outreach efforts, including dormitory visits, classroom presentations, and one-on-one conversations, to promote voter registration and participation among their peers. We have planned interactive sessions with political representatives to facilitate discussions on pressing issues, political platforms, and the role of youth in shaping the democratic process. These sessions aim to stimulate critical thinking and encourage civic engagement among our student body. In collaboration with our esteemed faculty members, we are working to integrate discussions on civic responsibility, democracy, and voting rights into the academic curriculum. This interdisciplinary approach will help instill a sense of civic duty and foster a culture of active citizenship among our students. Through these concerted efforts, we are confident in our ability to empower our students to become informed and engaged voters, thereby contributing to the advancement of our democracy.
